Project Overview
SóGeo collaborated closely with homeowners Terry & Lynne Lefoe of Coimadai, Victoria to transform their new build home into an example of sustainable, energy efficient living with cutting-edge geothermal technology and exceptional services. Not only did the results exceed expectations; they also showcased eco-friendly heating & cooling solutions for the future.

Terry and Lynne set out with one goal in mind when building their dream home, comfort and sustainability. Thanks to SóGeo, this goal was met.

At the center of this project stood an innovative geothermal heat pump system which powered underfloor heating and cooling as well as forced-air cooling systems. For added indoor comfort, a heat recovery ventilation system was also implemented which improved air quality while recycling thermal energy back into use.

Goal of this Project

Our main objective for this project was to provide maximum comfort with minimum energy consumption. For this to come together successfully, SóGeo used its geothermal expertise and successfully drilled four 99-meter boreholes into Coimadai mudstone in only one week--an impressive achievement that laid the groundwork for geothermal heating/cooling system installation.

High-Quality Equipment: Stiebel Eltron heat pumps and ventilation systems were chosen due to their reliability and efficiency, while seamless integration was managed by SóGeo’s expert team of technicians.

SóGeo maintained open communication with homeowners to keep the project on schedule despite unexpected obstacles, ensuring everything ran according to plan.
